B.A.-I
CO.1. Develop understanding of an Indian economy, features, it’s functioning, challenges and
role of agricultural, Industrial and service sector in Indian economy.
CO.2. Get acquainted with the economic development since Independence.                                     
CO.3. Develop understanding of challenges facing the Indian economy.
CO.4. The Structure of the Indian economy and Changes Taking Place therein.
CO.5. Get acquainted with the policies and performance of major sectors in Indian Economy.


B.A.II
CO.1 The students will get acquainted with the basic concepts of macroeconomics.
CO.2 The students will be equipped with various theories of income determination, money
           supply and price-wage relationships.
CO.3 The students will be able to understand policy issues with regard to macroeconomics
CO.4. The course will enable the students to make use of banking instruments and services   
effectively.
CO.5. The students will get acquainted with the working of banks and become familiar with the basic principles and concepts which are often used in banking literature.

CO.6. The course will improve the employ ability of the student in the banking sector.
B.A. Part – III
Paper- XII Market and Pricing
CO.1 The knowledge on micro economic concepts and behavior of economic agents will enable the    student in taking rational decisions and to design suitable production, consumption, pricing and marketing strategies.
CO.2 Micro economics analyzes the economic behaviour of individual firms and markets. It is mainly concerned with the objective of equipping the students in a rigorous and comprehensive manner with the various aspects of a consumer behaviour and demand analysis, production theory and behaviour of revenue and cost.
Paper- XIII RESEARCH METHODOLOGY IN ECONOMICS 
CO.1. Research will play an important role in enriching subject knowledge of the students.
CO.2. The students of Economics will be able to know the basic concept and methodology of research. In this context the paper of Research methodology is important for the students of Economics.
CO.3. The students will understand research methodology in Economics.
CO.4. The students will understand data collection methods.
CO.5. Students of Economics should know the basic concepts and methodology of research and report writing.
Paper No-XIV History of Economic Thoughts. 
CO.1 The student should know the contribution of Economic thoughts. They should able to know the concepts by classical, neo-classical and modern economists. The thoughts explained by the economists and their relevance in 21th century.
CO.2 Students recognize a wide range of perspectives within the discipline and they can explain
          how these perspectives are reflected in economists’ theoretical models and policy
          prescriptions.
                                  Paper No. XV  Economics of planning 
CO.1. This paper will enable the students to understand the concept of economic development, theories of growth and development, sectoral aspects of development, domestic macro policies etc.
CO.2. This paper would enable the students to know about the concept of economic planning, issues in development planning and economic planning in India
CO.3. The students will be able to recognize a wide range of perspectives within the discipline
CO.4. The students will be able to explain how these perspectives are reflected in economists’
theoretical models and policy prescriptions.
                    Paper No. –XVI   INTERNATIONAL ECONOMICS 
CO.1. The students will be to understand deeply the basic principles that tend to govern the free flow of trade in goods and services at the global level.
CO.2. The students will be able to know theory and nature of the subject that have registered rapid changes during the last decade.
CO.3. The students are will know the impact of free trade and protective trade on the different sectors of the economy as well as at the macro level.
CO.4. The students will be well trained about the rationale of recent changes in the export-import policies of India.
CO.5. The students will understand the relevance of the policy point of view under the present global scenario.
CO.6. The students will understand the global economy, its functioning and relationship between
          Countries and to think and work within the conceptual framework of global village.
